About DraftPaid

Built by someone who needed it.

DraftPaid wasn't built in a boardroom. It was built out of frustration by a mechanic who got tired of overcomplicated invoicing tools.

The Story

Before college, I spent years working as a mechanic. I still do side work for friends and family — fixing cars, doing jobs for people. Every time I finished a job I needed to send an invoice. Simple enough, right?

Wrong. Every free tool I tried either wanted me to create an account just to download one PDF, slapped a giant watermark across my work, or was so bloated with accounting features I didn't need that it took longer to figure out the software than to do the actual job.

So when I started studying Computer Science in college, I built the tool I always wanted. Something dead simple. Open it, fill it in, download it. No account. No watermarks on the invoice. Done in under a minute.

That's DraftPaid. It started as a college project and turned into something I genuinely use and believe in.
